Hope Community Development Association (Hope CDA) believes many of society’s challenges stem from the absence of men in their homes or men that are not living as positive role models. We believe every person is made in the image of God and is therefore of great worth. Hope CDA exists to help men escape the prison of poverty, helplessness and hopelessness. This was part of Jesus’ mission to earth when he quoted Isaiah: 

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free…” Luke 4:18 (NIV)

Hope CDA’s mission is to demonstrate Christ’s love by equipping individuals to transform their lives through gainful employment and skillful living.
