Happy Resurrection Day
Resurrection Day and the events that surround it remind us of the amazing sacrifice that Jesus made to free us from the slavery of sins. This day also reminds us that as He rose from the dead we, too, will rise and live with Him throughout eternity.
I Know a Name
In Acts 4:12, Peter declared, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
There is truly only one Name that has the power to save people from their sins. However, Jesus’ Name does more than that. This past week, our devotion began with “I Know a Name,” by Brandon Lake and Elevation Worship. Listen to the words by clicking the video below.
Jesus brought so much to humanity. He brought peace, healing, love, mercy, grace, salvation, and purpose, just to name a few. His is the Name above every other name.

Volunteer Opportunities
We are also looking for four people who are interested in helping teach classes on Friday mornings about nutrition and health. These classes are taught every other Friday, and we are looking for some who have ideas on how they can help our men to be healthier. Prayers for the Week
We ask you to join in prayer for these things:
- For Nick, who is struggling mightily right now. May God help him to overcome his pride and seek peace and health through Jesus Christ.
- For those who do not know Jesus. May they seek out someone who will show them the way to the Name that is above all names.
- For Christians everywhere. May they find their purpose and identity “in Christ.”
- For the 17 men in our program and our 36 graduates. May they continue to grow in their faith and seek to be fervent disciples of Jesus.

On Tuesday, Dr. Jessie Frerich, the Executive Director at House of Hope, will speak. Jessie has an amazing testimony and great words of wisdom to share. You will not want to miss this either. Please join us at 5:30 for dinner and at 6:00 p.m. for her Dr. Jessie’s message.
On Tuesday, April 14, Gary Thompson will be at Hope CDA to speak. No one brings a message of encouragement like Gary, so please join us.
