Josh Hansen Set to Graduate

A reminder that the graduation ceremony for Josh Hansen will be on Monday, April 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Mission of Hope. Josh’s story is an amazing one and we hope you will join us to celebrate this momentous achievement in his life.

Like the Walls of Jericho

Hope CDA is remodeling a building on 17th Street that will become a new stability house for the program. This building is ideal, as it will allow us to house seven graduates of the program. The goal is to have the inside renovation done by September in preparation of the large number of graduates we will have at the end of the year.

To get started, we are looking for volunteers who would like to help with the demolition. It is expected that three people would take three days to complete the task. Volunteers do not need to commit to all three days. If you have a spare day or two, even a spare afternoon, we could use your help.

Please contact Dr. Robert Pannier (rob.p@hopecdacr.org) if you can help. We need to have this work done by Easter, so please contact Rob right away.

A Delay in Becoming F.A.T.

The release of Dr. Robert Pannier’s book, I Wanna Be F.A.T., has been delayed until Easter Sunday. Dr. Pannier is feverishly working on getting the proper information and edits into the book and will have it ready within the next three weeks.

Hope Good News

Zachary Early was accepted into the Hope CDA program and began on Monday. Zach is the youngest person to ever enter the program (19 years old), and we know that God has amazing plans for him… The Hope CDA Enterprise Team is almost ready to announce a new enterprise venture at Hope CDA. Stay tuned for more information… Paula Hamer and Gina Snyder are leading a team will teach the men more about nutrition and eating better. They will begin with teaching about nutrition and healthy eating, and move to teaching how to build a healthy meal plan. We are excited about this opportunity to help our men to improve their lives in other areas… Troy Lloyd turned 43 this last Saturday. Wish our dear brother a belated Happy Birthday.

Prayers for the Week

We ask you to join in prayer for these things:

  1. We pray for Zach as he begins the Hope CDA program.
  2. We continue to pray for Jason as he was diagnosed with cancer. May God bring an incredible healing upon him.
  3. We pray for Josh Hansen as he has nearly completed the program. May God continue to do amazing things in this young man’s life.
  4. We pray for new enterprise ventures at Hope CDA.

Tuesday Night Encouragement at Hope CDA

This Tuesday, a favorite at Hope CDA, returns to speak on Creationism and dinosaurs. Charley Snodgrass always provides an encouraging and educational message, and we know you will enjoy it. Please come and join us on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
